Director's Comments

As Founder and National Director of United Parents Against Lead (UPAL) I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of our supporters and sponsors who have made UPAL a 10 year success story.  UPAL has endured and triumphed over many barriers and obstacles both personal and external. We have exceeded our targeted enrollment of 100 residential units scheduled to undergo lead hazard remediation.  Our team of experts truly rose to the task of "Getting the Lead Out". To them I am ever grateful and extend a heart filled thanks for their hard work, dedication, commitment and persistence.

Without you UPAL would not have been successful in the implementation of HUD's Lead Elimination Action Program. It has truly been a LEAP of faith.  We look forward to serving our communities over the next 10 years.
